Air as a spring element clearly dominates the market for suspension forks with up to 180mm travel and has established itself as a light, versatile alternative to the steel spring. A characteristic feature of air springs, however, is the non-linear characteristic. This is evident in the spongy middle area of \u200b\u200bthe fork. This is exactly where the AWK comes in with a second positive chamber and flying pistons as well as an increased pressure level.
