The signature tyre from Troy Brosnan, the Australian DH Star. The Maxxis Dissector is designed for the optimum combination of low rolling resistance and best cornering grip. This versatile tyre is therefore actually a rear tyre, but can also be used in the front or on both wheels, depending on the surface.<\/div>\n

Troy Brosnan wanted to create a unicorn of tires. A tyre that rolls madly fast, mills precisely through curves and decelerates accordingly well if necessary. The tread pattern of Rekon, Minion DHF and HighRoller II was used as the basis for this and was designed in close cooperation with Troy during the 2018 World Cup season.<\/p>\n

          3C MaxxGrip<\/strong>
          \nSuperior race performance due to three different rubber compounds in different tread positions. The base layer ensures low rolling resistance and stability of the profile slats. The compound in the middle of the tread provides the best grip on any surface, while the extremely damped compound on the shoulder studs ensures the best possible cornering grip.<\/p>\n

          Double Down<\/strong>
          \nDoubleDown (DD) is the next step in the evolution of the dual-ply tire casing for enduro racing. Two 120 TPI casing layers reinforced with a butyl insert provide the enduro racer with the support and protection of a downhill tire, but in a lighter package.<\/p>\n

          Tubeless Ready (TR)<\/strong>
          \nTubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This provides better traction and rolling resistance decreases. And where there is no hose, also decreases the risk of punctures. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for the assembly with sealing milk than others “Tubeless Ready” tires. The bulge of our TR tire is completely covered like a real UST tubeless tires with a rubber layer.<\/p>\n

          Wide Trail Casing<\/strong>
          \nWide Trail (WT) construction optimizes tread layout and tyre shape on today’s wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and are too angular on wide rims for optimal performance.
          \nWT tyres are optimised for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but function perfectly on all rims with an inner dimension between 30 and 40 mm.<\/p>\n
