Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This provides better traction and rolling resistance decreases. And where there is no hose, also decreases the risk of punctures. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for the assembly with sealing milk than others “Tubeless Ready” tires. The bulge of our TR tire is completely covered like a real UST tubeless tires with a rubber layer. Thus, the Schlauchlosmontage is successful for all rims with standard dimensions already at the first inflation and with little liquid.

Wide Trail Casing
Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes tread layout and tyre shape on today’s wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and get too angular a shape on wide rims for a less than optimal performance.
WT tyres are optimised for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but function excellently on all rims with an inner dimension between 30 and 40 mm.

3C MaxxGrip
Superior race performance due to three different rubber compounds in different tread positions. The base layer ensures low rolling resistance and stability of the profile slats. The compound in the middle of the tread provides the best grip on any surface, while the extremely damped compound on the shoulder studs ensures the best possible cornering grip.
